C'est bien cela ; Centre Régional d'Instruction et d'Organisation du Train n°6

Créé le 1 février à Toul par changement d'appellation du CIT n°6, formation d'Instruction de la 6ème Région Militaire, devient CIT 156 le 1er février 1956.

Sur l'insigne figurent les blasons de Lorraine, d'Alsace et de Champagne.
